Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Task objectives:
As a Sales Development Representative at AREA42, you’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, identifying and targeting ideal customer profiles within new market segments, and developing effective outreach strategies to generate qualified leads. You’ll work closely with Sales Executives to ensure a smooth transition through the sales pipeline. You’ll also play a key role in developing and refining global outreach strategies, ensuring we can replicate success across different markets. This is a high-impact role with significant opportunities for learning and career development. You’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, playing a crucial role in driving our growth and expansion.
Tasks:
- Market research: Identify potential new customer segments for AREA42’s products/services and pinpoint ideal customer profiles with the highest potential for conversion.
Outreach: Engage with prospects through targeted emails, cold calls, and social media to generate interest in AREA42 solutions. - Lead Qualification: Conduct discovery phone calls to understand prospects’ needs and pain points, and determine their suitability for our services.
- Meeting Scheduling: Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives to further discuss financing offerings.
- CRM Management: Keep track accurately of records of your activities and interactions with prospects in HubSpot.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine our outreach strategies.
- Strategy: Play a key role in developing and refining global outreach strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
- Refinement: Contribute to the creation of scalable processes that can be replicated across different markets to ensure consistent lead generation success.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Meetings Scheduled: Consistently achieve a target of 15 SQLs/meetings per month.
- Lead Generation: Generate a steady pipeline of qualified leads through various prospecting activities.
- Call & Email Activity: Maintain a high volume of daily calls and emails to prospects.
- Tracking & Reporting: Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is recorded in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the value of AREA42’s solutions.
- Prospecting & Qualifying Skills: Proven ability to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Sales Acumen: A solid understanding of the sales process and a passion for driving results.
- Resilience & Persistence: A positive and persistent attitude with the ability to overcome objections and setbacks.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Language Skills: Fluency in French, English. Another European language is highly desirable. Preferably Dutch.
Salary range:
- 250-900€/day
- Job subject to contract via proUnity (AREA42 procurement platform), with monthly timesheets and invoicing

Work hours, travel requirements, etc.:
- Work up to 230 days for this SoW in 2025. As a freelancer, you are free to choose when you wish to work with AREA42 or to take holidays.
- Travels to support the development of the SoW (up to 10% of the time)
- For administrative simplicity all travel assignments are arranged by AREA42 and also the costs are carried directly by AREA42.
