Requirements

  • Experience working with a docs as code workflow.

  • Experience planning, researching, writing, and editing software documentation.

    • Excellent skills in grammar, minimalist documentation design, and effective information architecture.

  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.

  • Excellent writing & speaking skills in English (All documentation needs to be written in English), it is a plus if you have knowledge of French and/or Dutch.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.

  • Can-do attitude, analytical mindset, ability to take ownership.

Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. Our new colleague will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers and usability experts to make our products easier to use.

This will be your challenge:

  • You will work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • You produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • You ensure that the documentation for all of our products is clear, correct, comprehensive and easy to use.
  • You will write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
  • You will create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
  • You will analyze existing and potential content, focusing on re-use and single-sourcing opportunities.
  • You will create and maintain the information architecture.
