You support the healthdata.be service within Sciensano; the Belgian National Institute of Public Health. 

healthdata.be is the branch of Sciensano that provides researchers and policy actors with support in the field of healthcare technical expertise, as well as in the field of developing and managing policy-supporting scientific research databases. The platform helps healthcare actors to exchange medical data with researchers in a secure and efficient manner, which can then be used for policy-supporting scientific research. Healthdata.be’s mission is to facilitate the exchange of data between healthcare professionals and researchers in order to increase knowledge about public health in Belgium.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for a Senior Project And Process Management Specialist to strengthen our healthdata.be platform. The new colleague shall be expected to deploy a high level of expertise to manage and finalize various processes s/he will be tasked with.

Function
The collaborator will report to the team leader of the Project Management Office, s/he will have the responsibility to follow-up various internal projects and processes from A to Z, deploying high level of personal expertise, to deliver the best output within the allocated specific timeframe.

Profile
Technical and Functional Skills

·        Supporting the healthdata.be project management team in a way that allows all employees within the team to reach their full potential;

·        Continuously stimulating the development and improvement of the quality of processes in order to offer an optimal service and thus strengthen cooperation;

·        Taking responsibility for writing a detailed project description to define the scope and objectives of the project, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;

·        Monitor and track the progress of the projects;

·        Being able and willing to create quality documentation (functional and technical), from start to finish, according to the business process;

·        Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget;

·        Being able and willing to give presentations;

·        Managing changes in project scope, project schedule and project costs and communicating these changes in an appropriate manner to all relevant healthdata.be teams;

·        Possession of certificates in related fields and processes, including Prince2 and/or ITIL, would be plus.

General terms and conditions for hiring new consultants at Healthdata.be
 ·        Candidate must be able to start within 30 days, at the latest, of the day on which the recruitment is confirmed by Healthdata.be;

·        Candidate must be resident of a European Economic Area country;

·        Candidate must be able to be present at office (Brussels) for a minimum of 2 days a week;

·        Candidate must own a personal laptop in order to work via a virtual desktop application;

·        Agency commits to applying the same tariff -as the one originally agreed upon for- a total period of at least 12 months, from the first service day of the consultant at Healthdata.be onwards, during which the Agency cannot request an upward revision of the rate; 

·        Agency is informed of and commits to complying with the principle that tariff revisions at healthdata.be depends on and follows periodical evaluations made by the technical and administrative teams of Healthdata.be, based on the performance of the consultant.
